Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit our family blog.
This blog was originally created to post updates on our newborn daughter, which was 4 years ago. God has started using this blog as a ministry and outreach plus a way to record the journey that God is allowing our family to live.
To Our Lord, may He get the Glory and Honor!

The Best Time Ever, Dedicated to my Rick

Oh my goodness, did I just arrive home today from the best trip I have ever taken in my life?!!! Wow, we had a precious time Saturday evening with our ceremony. It was so much fun. All the guests seem to be so happy. Our daughters were so happy to throw bird seed at us, Hannah was first in line, she couldn't wait. The next morning we left for an anniversary honeymoon trip. It was the only honeymoon I have ever had and it was worth it a million times over. Many times I have prayed for time away with my husband. Until now, we have not made time- but after this trip, I will make time. We feel so refreshed and I feel just like I felt newly married.

Thank you, Rick, for a beautiful anniversary and memories plus a precious testimony that will be told to our grandchildren and generations to come. Happy 10 Years!

With Love,

the celebration begins

In less than 24 hours, I will celebrate my anniversary and my own children will be in our "wedding"! I skipped my cousin's graduation tonight because I am getting ready. I've been decorating all day and trying to get my house in order. So much to do, and I"m just one person. My sweet Friend Maria came by today with fresh flowers from her garden and made arrangments in jars for me. They smell so good. Also, a beautiful plant that is amazing. I felt so loved, thank you Maria!

We're planning on an Anniversary Honeymoon. I am so looking forward to strolling down Biltmore Estate gardens nestled in my husband's arms! This is a rare occasion and we are both so excited just to spend time with each other and God. I hope He shows Rick something really neat for the future of our family or gives him a vision or speaks to him in some way for our family! I will try to post pictures after we return from our trip.

Blessings to all!

10 year celebration

We're planning our celebration, so much is happening in the next few weeks so I don't have a lot of time for updates. Plans are for our wedding anniversary, taking lots of our time.

By the way, Dollywood was fun. Rainy and cool, but fun. Definitely recommend going in warm weather!

Wanted to give a quick update to my buddies.
